Along with Sapphire and Emerald, Ruby is part of the dex holder trio in Hoenn. He is also known as the Charmer of the Pokédex Holders, and has taken on all of the contests in Hoenn. He has won every single ribbon there between the five catagories with 4 levels in each.

Brendan is the hero of Hoenn on a few occassions, having stopped Groudon and quelled its anger and then taking Rayquaza to stop a meteor that was going to crash into Hoenn. Yes, this Brendan takes place Post-ORAS (I am getting icons ready and stuff so you'll be seeing RSE Brendan until I can).
